Minister of Health visits works at the General Hospital of Cabinda

Sílvia Lutucuta, Minister of Health, visited the works at the Cabinda Hospital last Saturday. The visit served to verify the level of execution of the contract, which is in the final stretch.

"The Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutucuta, noted this Saturday, April 9, the level of execution of the works at the General Hospital of Cabinda, which is nearing completion", can be read in a note from the Ministry of Health.

According to the statement, the new hospital will have around 200 beds. In addition, it will also have imaging services, clinical laboratory, hemodialysis, X-ray (simple, with special techniques and portable), high-resolution ultrasound and state-of-the-art technology, computed tomography and mammography.

Pediatric inpatient rooms, postpartum rooms, gynecologist and obstetrician internment and medicine internment rooms, blood bank, outpatient consultation, emergency room, among others, will also make up the hospital unit.

In addition, according to the note, the hospital will also have seven operating rooms for general surgery, orthopedics, maxillofacial, implants, minor surgeries and childbirth procedures.

"The first third-level hospital in the province will have a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance device unique in the country and also, for the first time, an Angeograph that will be used to perform cardiac, brain, neurological and other exams", the note adds.

In addition, the hospital will also focus on "pre and post graduate training in various specialties".
