João Lourenço, who was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of 12 Deputy Attorneys General, appointed last week, called for the reinforcement of the work that has been carried out so far, taking into account "the very important role" that the Public Ministry, in addition to of the courts, plays in the administration of justice.
"The PGR in recent years has demonstrated its commitment to the fight against crime in general, but in particular in the fight against the so-called white collar crime. We hope that they will reinforce the work that has been done so far, since, in addition to the courts, the Public Ministry plays a very important role in the administration of Justice ", he said.
The President stressed the importance of the act, on the day that the Attorney General's Office celebrates its 42 years of existence, congratulating all public prosecutors on the occasion.
