List with the fortunes of Angolans in Portugal has already been delivered to Angola

Last week, Portugal handed Angola a list with the fortunes of several Angolan personalities. Names such as Isabel dos Santos, Leopoldino Fragoso do Nascimento and Tchizé dos Santos are part of the document that lists Angolans who have fortunes in Portugal.

According to the Correio da Manhã, quoted by Observador, the document consists of more than 7000 pages and details bank accounts, investments, real estate and shares in companies of various Angolan figures.

Among the various names on the list are the children of former President José Eduardo dos Santos: Isabel dos Santos, Tchizé dos Santos and Zenú dos Santos appear in the document for having shares in Portuguese companies and owning real estate.

Isabel dos Santos holds shares in the Portuguese companies NOS and Galp. She also held shares in Efacec, but her shares have since been nationalized. Given the investigations surrounding the businesswoman, some of these shares are frozen.

Her sister, Tchizé dos Santos, appears on the list for owning real estate. The same happens with Zenú dos Santos, former president of the Sovereign Fund of Angola.

The dos Santos brothers are joined by the names of the former head of the Military House Manuel Hélder Vieira Dias and the former head of Angolan intelligence, Leopoldino Fragoso do Nascimento.

However, according to Correio da Manhã, the names of the former vice-president, Manuel Vicente, and of Álvaro Sobrinho, former president of Banco Espírito Santo Angola, are not included in the document.

The newspaper also reported that the list was delivered by the Central Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution, in hand, to a judicial officer of the Angolan Attorney General's Office (PGR), who traveled to Portugal for this purpose.

It should be noted that in February last year, Hélder Pitta Grós, the attorney general, asked Lucília Gago, his Portuguese counterpart, for help in identifying the assets of Angolans who had real estate, investments or accounts in that country.
