"Under the scope of the Privatization Program (PROPRIV), the privatization, by Initial Public Offering (OPI), of 30 percent of the shares of the Angola Debt and Securities Exchange - Regulated Markets Management Company, SA (BODIVA) was authorized, as approved by the President of the Republic in Presidential Order no. 66/2024, of March 13", informs BODIVA, in a statement, sent to VerAngola.
According to BODIVA, the aforementioned diploma also approves the "reserve of two percent of shares for acquisition, under special conditions, by BODIVA employees, in accordance with the law".
In this way, the Institute for Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE), as offeror, announced, this Friday morning, the "opening of the procedure", thus beginning the "process of structuring and preparation" of BODIVA's OPI.
It should be noted that BODIVA concerns a limited company whose corporate purpose is the management of regulated markets in the country, "and may also carry out activities related to its function".
"Performing its activity since 2014 with management and corporate governance principles aligned with the best practices applicable to the private sector, it will become the fourth public domain company to be privatized via the stock exchange", the statement also states.
