According to Nestor Goubel, the police became aware at around 3 am this Thursday of the occurrence of a voluntary homicide, which killed a third deputy chief of the National Police, assigned to the municipal command of Viana.
"This is the deputy chief who went by the name of Cândido Quinta Teresa, 33 years old. According to the information we had access to, the facts occurred when the delinquents climbed the victim's residence, our colleague's, demanded money and the weapon fire", he said.
Nestor Goubel said that the victim claimed not to have a firearm, and the unidentified men demanded that a money transfer be made through a mobile application.
"Continuously, they shot in a cold way in the head of our colleague, who ended up dying immediately", said Nestor Goubel, noting that efforts are underway to locate the alleged perpetrators of this crime.
On Monday, another police officer, chief inspector, stationed at the Luanda port unit, was killed in his home during a robbery, shot in the abdomen.
The attack took place when the victim was sleeping and was awakened by the noise of the robbers knocking insistently on the door.
"In an attempt by the unsuccessful person to open [the door], they fired a shot, hitting him in the abdominal region, knowing immediate death at the scene.
