The launch event of the H2 diplo is scheduled for the month of April within the scope of the 1st German-Angolan Hydrogen Symposium, with a series of events, studies, working group meetings and empowerment.

"Ambassador Traumann highlighted the good economic relations between Germany and Angola, recently reinforced also by the visit of the then Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, in 2020", highlights the statement, noting that renowned German companies already operate in Angola, especially in the sectors, energy and infrastructure.

Angola and Germany intend to expand their bilateral relations and promote German investments in Angola, presenting the German-Angolan Hydrogen Office, which started the operation in 2022, as "an instrument on the path of diversifying the Angolan economy" and which also intends to support the energy transition process from fossil energy sources to renewable energies.
