João Lourenço says that appointed judges are the best for the Court of Auditors

The President of the Republic said this Friday that the four new advising judges of the Court of Auditors are in a better position to perform their duties because they were the first classified in the competition held.


"Having been the first four classified in the competition, it leaves us with the guarantee that in better conditions they are able to perform this role of advising judges of the Court of Auditors, from a technical and professional point of view are up to the duties that from today start to play ", said João Lourenço at the swearing-in ceremony of the advising judges.

In turn, adviser judge Fausto Tavares Simões said that in the new era that the country is going through, there must be more and more transparency, rigor, a requirement for financial management of assets as recommended.

The four judges were appointed this Wednesday by the head of state to replace an equal number of magistrates who ended their term.
