Sonangol will partially divest participatory interests in eight oil blocks

Sonangol, a state oil company, will launch a tender, to be announced in the second quarter of this year, for the partial sale of participatory interests in eight oil blocks, safeguarding the preemptive rights of the current partners.

The announcement was made in a statement, emphasizing the partial sale of its participatory interests held by the Exploration and Production Unit in several oil concessions, where it acts as an operator or partner of the contracting groups.

The action, the document emphasizes, is part of the strategy of reviewing and optimizing its portfolio of exploration and production assets, aiming to have the process concluded by the end of this year.
