Sonangol promises to normalize diesel supply in the south in the coming hours

The state oil company Sonangol promised to regularize the supply of diesel in the southern provinces of the country in the coming hours, adding that the lack of fuel was due to a delay in the replenishment of ‘stocks.’

:

The provinces of Huíla, Namibe, Cunene and Cuando Cubango currently have low levels of diesel availability "due to the delay in replenishing stocks, due to operational issues", announced the Distribution and Marketing Business Unit of Sonangol .

In order to stabilize the situation, the transfer of 600 cubic meters of diesel to the province of Huíla, and an equal amount to the province of Namibe, is underway from the Lobito Ocean Terminal in the next few hours.

"The normal supply to this region follows its usual schedule with the arrival, scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, March 22, of a ship to the Ocean Terminal of Namibe, transporting 6000 m3 of Diesel and 4010 m3 of gasoline", he adds the statement.
