This is Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Regional Affairs of Qatar, who, according to a brief note from the Presidency of the Republic to which VerAngola had access, was received at the end of this Monday morning by the head of state.
The meeting, which took place at the Presidential Palace, served to discuss matters of common interest, within the framework of cooperation relations, writes Angop.
According to Angop, the official did not speak to the press at the end of the meeting.
Bilateral cooperation between the two countries has "evolved in recent years" significantly, with Angola and Qatar playing relevant roles with regard to the production and export of oil and gas, fields in which the partnership currently lies.
It should be recalled that last week, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, inaugurated, in Doha, the Angolan Embassy in Qatar.
