The tenders launched through advertisements published in Jornal de Angola also include the acquisition of 'kits' for electoral civic education agents, generators and 'kits' for lighting, shirts, polo shirts and caps and for mapping services, electoral rolls, information to voters, accreditation and information technology.

In May of last year, the CNE had already launched a tender to acquire 125 off-road vehicles that will be used in the process of supervising the on-site voter registration and pre-mapping of polling stations.

The deadline for receiving requests for procedural documents is 48 hours after publication of the notice, and the deadline for submitting proposals is 20 days, also counting from the publication of the notice, on Tuesday.

Bidders must pay 250,000 kwanzas for the parts of the procedure and a security deposit of 5 percent of the overall price of the proposals.

Angola is preparing to hold general elections starting in the second half of August this year, the deadline set out in the Constitution.
