"TAAG - Linhas Aéreas de Angola, SA informs its esteemed passengers, partners and customers that flights to São Tomé and Príncipe will resume on February 3rd this year", reads in a publication shared by the airline on the social network Instagram.
In the note, TAAG deplored the "inconvenience caused as a result of operational constraints that made it impossible to resume flights" earlier.
Suspended since March 2020 due to covid-19, TAAG's air connections to São Tomé and Príncipe should have resumed as of Monday, January 25, but the company then announced the flight's cancellation indefinitely.
The covid-19 pandemic led to the closure of the airspace of many countries to commercial flights, including from Angola.
