Dooh Ponto wants to create about 1000 jobs in the next five years. According to the company's general manager, Helivelton Francisco, the company also intends to extend its activities to the whole country.

The objectives of Dooh Ponto, the first national fast-food franchise, are part of a business restructuring strategy which, according to the person in charge, involves analyzing all the provinces that offer conditions to support the company's expansion.

In an interview with the Market, Helivelton Francisco made it known that the expansion of the company should be done through franchises.

"We have created a new business model in the local market and we do not have our own stores. With this we give the opportunity to investors and potential entrepreneurs to bet on a business already tested and approved, reducing the risks of opening a new business", he explained.

He considered that the country presents an emerging and promising market, which can come to interest future investors to bet on business such as fast-food.

The responsible believes that it is possible to advance with the expansion of the network because the company is living one of the best moments ever.

Although Dooh Ponto has suffered a reduction of about 40 per cent in its turnover due to the pandemic, he admitted that the company ended the year 2020 with a positive balance.

"Today we sell more than two thousand hamburgers per day, fruit of our strategy", he indicated.

Helivelton Francisco revealed that the company's annual turnover is not below 300 million kwanzas.

He also took the opportunity to mention that the partnership with Pumangol to create a thru drive is an added value: "This business concept is very functional, where the two companies take advantage. At the beginning we tried a partnership with Sonangol and we didn't get an answer and we had to find other alternatives and Pumangol, which is a young company and managed by young people with a more open mind, has rentabilized its own space", he indicated.

He also made a point of emphasizing that the company focuses on social responsibility. "If we win we should give in return something, this is a culture implanted on the business", he said, adding that in this company's domain to help, with sponsorship, university students that needs financial help or school materials, among others.

"Our focus is always on children, sometimes we have 150 to 200 children in stores to consume for free and we already did actions of this kind in homes before the pandemic," he added.
