Covid-19: country with 14 new positive cases, two deaths and 20 recoveries

The country registered 14 new cases of covid-19, two deaths and 20 patients considered recovered in the last 24 hours, health authorities announced this Sunday.

According to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, released this Sunday, cases were registered in Luanda (11), Huambo (2) and Huíla (1), aged between 3 and 73 years, four males and 10 females.

The two deaths, two women aged 49 and 81, occurred in Luanda.

A further 20 people between the ages of 6 and 77 were considered recovered from the disease.

The laboratories processed 934 samples per RT-PCR, in a cumulative of 360,982 tests analyzed to date.

Angola has 19,796 positive cases, of which 466 deaths, 18,035 data as recovered and 1295 active, of which four in critical condition and nine severe.

The covid-19 pandemic caused at least 2,219,793 deaths resulting from more than 102.5 million cases of infection worldwide, according to a balance sheet made by the French agency AFP.

The disease is transmitted by a new coronavirus detected at the end of December 2019 in Wuhan, a city in central China.
