Forced shutdown of three aircraft requires changes to TAAG's domestic flights

Three of the five aircraft used on TAAG's domestic flights are currently parked, which has forced the company to change its daily schedule.

:

According to a statement from TAAG, one of the Boeing 737-700 aircraft was taken off the line for scheduled periodic maintenance reasons and two others "for unexpected technical situations".

"For this reason, and with the appropriate notifications to our valued passengers, there are constant changes in flight schedules with a view to honouring the commitments entered into", states TAAG.

The 12 domestic and regional routes served by the carrier are operated by five Boeing 737-700.

Contacted by Lusa, the company's source said it hoped to "minimise the situation over the next 24 hours".
