"Our work is rewarding because we have the opportunity to help Germans and the world not only get to know a country that is very beautiful, but also has untapped potential and an impressive culture", said Anke Budde, during a session held last Sunday, as part of a tour that the Minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel, made around Europe.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur), to which VerAngola had access, in Frankfurt (a German city and the last stop on Márcio Daniel's tour of Europe), the minister and his team "held two days of working meetings with the Kleber group, an operator with over 30 years of experience in managing tourist destinations and creating products, and a partner of Mintur in developing the strategy to attract tourists from the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland)".
"The process underway by the Ministry of Tourism to make Angola a destination known in the DACH market includes the creation of a promotion plan based on the creation of the main tourism products, guided by the trends and preferences of this target group, marketing and communication campaigns, statistical analysis as well as interaction between Angolan and German tour operators with a view to establishing strategic partnerships that will allow the country to receive thousands of tourists from the aforementioned area", the note reads.
During his visit to Europe, the Minister of Tourism also visited Madrid (Spain) and London (United Kingdom).
"The mission of the Ministry of Tourism in Madrid, London and Frankfurt not only expanded knowledge about the local market and best practices in the sector, but also enabled the approach to attract investment and reinforced the importance of establishing relationships of trust in international environments", says the statement from the Ministry.
