Tender for privatization of four agro-industrial enterprises concluded

The Institute for the Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE) reported this Tuesday that the public tender to privatize four agro-industrial enterprises is concluded.

"Within the scope of the Privatization Program (PROPRIV) 2019-2022, the Institute for the Management of State Assets and Participations, as the state entity responsible for the execution of the respective program, informs that the public tender No. 07/21 for privatization has been concluded, in the form of Asset Disposal, of four agro-industrial enterprises that make up PROPRIV", can be read in a statement sent to VerAngola.

In the note, IGAPE added that the tender took place via auction, on the IGAPE Electronic Auction Portal, with 11 applications.

After completing all the phases foreseen in the procedural documents, and based on the award criteria foreseen, the projects were awarded to SANEP, DOMBE and NÓS Global (SU), S.A.

According to the statement, the Agro-industrial Complex of Caxito and the Agro-industrial Complex of Namibe were awarded to SANEP. The Dombe Grande Agro-industrial Complex was delivered to DOMBE and the Malanje Modular Slaughterhouse was awarded to NÓS Global (SU), S.A.

IGAPE recalls that the public tender was launched in September 2021, having completed "all the necessary administrative procedures and in accordance with the respective Terms of Reference and the Basic Law for Privatizations".
