Covid-19: country with 832 new cases, eight deaths and 1532 recoveries

According to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, released this Tuesday, in the last 24 hours, the country recorded 832 new cases, eight deaths and 1,532 recoveries.

The highest number of cases was found in the province of Luanda (459), followed by Namibe (117), Cabinda (46), Huíla (38), Bié (36), Huambo (34), Moxico (30), Uíge (26), Cuando Cubango (17), Lunda Sul (15), Benguela (9), Lunda Norte (3), Cuanza Sul (1) and Malanje (1).

The bulletin also notes that the new cases were registered in patients aged between two months and 88 years, 435 males and 397 females.

In the same period, eight deaths were also recorded, of which five were men and three were women, in the provinces of Luanda (4), Huíla (2), Benguela (1) and Huambo (1).

1532 recoveries were also recorded, of which 1321 in Luanda, 50 in Huambo, 49 in Uíge, 31 in Bié, 28 in Huíla, 18 in Cuando Cubango, 14 in Namibe, 10 in Lunda Norte, six in Benguela, four in Lunda Sul and one in Moxico.

The labs processed 4029 samples by RT-PCR with a daily positivity rate of 20.7 percent percent.

With the latest data, the country has a total of 91,148 cases, of which 9666 are active, 1840 have died and 79,642 have recovered.
