TCUL resumes express service between Kilamba and Luanda Port

The company Transportes Colectivos Urbanos de Luanda (TCUL) reopened this Monday the Express Service. The service will connect the Centrality of Kilamba - Mutamba - Port of Luanda and vice versa non-stop.

The Express Service, which was suspended because of covid-19, was resumed this Monday without changes in prices: tickets cost 6 thousand kwanzas per week, 12 thousand for the fortnight and 24 thousand kwanzas per month.

The information was confirmed by Ivan Falcão, head of the Institutional Communication and Press Office of the Kilamba City Administration, who explained that the increase in the frequency of express buses is dependent on the adhesion of the people.

The responsible, quoted by Jornal de Angola, asked all the residents of Kilamba Centrality to move to the center of the capital to join the TCUL Express Service.

The service will work in the morning and afternoon periods, however, if the demand increases the frequency of the service will be increased. However, for now the reopening of this service aims to help former customers.

On the express route, the company operated six buses, each with a capacity of 26 passengers.

In addition to the Express Service, TCUL also has in operation in the capital the urban transport service, composed of several routes and where 50 kwanzas are charged per trip.
