According to Nestor Goubel, spokesman for the Luanda provincial command of the National Police, the fact occurred on Monday morning in the municipality of Viana on the outskirts of Luanda.
Nestor Goubel said the man is already out of danger, after being rescued and subjected to two surgical procedures, while the minor is being held for the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The case took place in a guesthouse, where the man is said to have made an appointment with the 17 year-old teenager, having been attacked with a knife, essentially in the thorax area, when they were already in the room.
In statements issued by Angolan public radio, the adolescent told that she "was already tired" of being sexually abused, under death threats from her attacker.
"He threatened to hurt my family, my sisters, my mother and even my father," she accused, pointing out that the man was supposedly a friend of his father.
According to the adolescent, the assailant, who is allegedly military, threatened the minor with a weapon, ensuring that if she reported him, "he would kill the whole family.
"This is already happening from two to three years, I wasn't taking it, I was very frustrated, I couldn't take it anymore," she stressed.
The director of the Kapalanga hospital, Luis Domingos, where he was rescued, indicated that the injured had serious injuries, especially those located in the region of the lung and heart.
"We had to run quickly with him to the operating room, where we proceeded to a thoracotomy, to drain the blood that was accumulated around the heart and we also sutured the wounds that were in the left lung," he explained.
Luís Domingos stressed that before the surgery, the patient had a cardiorespiratory arrest and was resuscitated, having another arrest during the operation, which required another resuscitation.
"Now he is stable, he is still intubated under mechanical ventilation, until his hemodynamic parameters are normalized", he said in statements to public radio.
