According to witnesses heard by the Angolan Public Television, the accident occurred in the Benguela/Catengue section, and the two vehicles collided when one of them tried to overtake.
Adilson Francisco, the head of the emergency bank at Benguela General Hospital, said that there are patients with complex fractures, three of whom were referred to the operating room.
"They are polytraumatized patients, so we need to wait a little bit and see the reaction of the patients," he said.
