Nagrelha honored in urban art work in one of the most emblematic buildings in the country

Kolectivo Baúka, with the support of Luandina, decided to pay tribute to the kudurista Nagrelha. To do so, the group of artists resorted to urban art and painted a facade of one of the most emblematic buildings in the country, the Book building, located in the urban district of Sambizanga.

:

The work, called "The Pure Wi of N'Guimbi," gave a new face and color to 10 floors of the building. Kolectivo Baúka used a mixed technique (collage, painting and graphite) to paint the image of Nagrelha on the 680 square meters of the building's façade.

The urban artwork was given as completed last week and, according to Opaís, aims to honor the kudurista, who was born in that urban district and is a great national and international reference of kuduro.

This is "a tribute that, in fact, represents all pure, intense Angolans who, in the face of difficulties, fight, overcome themselves and represent a "Major State", can be read in one of Luandina's publications on her Facebook.

According to the same publication, Luandina together with the residents of that building, the Sambizanga Administration and a specialized construction company, "revitalized the sanitation base and the first floor of the historic building of the city of Luanda.

The kudurista was born on October 30, 1986, in the municipality of Sambizanga, where he lived until his 30th birthday. Considered a reference for the youth of suburban areas, Nagrelha married Weza Caio Mendes in 2012.

Outstanding in the world of kuduro, the artist recently decided to bet in the area of restoration. He opened the "Plaque of Nana", with the aim of boosting the various neighborhoods of Luanda and employing young people from these areas of residence.
