The kudurist Gelson Caio Mendes, better known as Nagrelha, will inaugurate next Saturday, December 19, the restaurant "Placa do Naná" in Sambizanga.

:

This is the second restaurant in the chain to open in Luanda. The first restaurant was opened in September this year at KK5.000, but the ambition is to open more restaurants in the capital.

"The first 'Nana Plate' was inaugurated on September 4th at KK5.000. Following this first moment, the 'Sambizanga Nana Plaque' is now presented to the public", can be read in a statement sent to VerAngola. The note also states that more restaurants will be installed "in different neighborhoods of Luanda and, further on, the challenge is to mark presence in several provinces of Angola.

The "Plaque of Nana" is the first concept of restaurant franchising, designed for the informal market of the country.

The restaurant, which was born from a partnership between the artist and Sodiba, aims to stimulate "the commercial dynamics of the neighborhoods, entrepreneurship, employing young people from these areas of residence," bringing a "different, dignified, creative and sophisticated face to the heart of the neighborhoods.

In addition, the "Nana Plate" wants to help reduce the "crime rate in the different neighborhoods by employing these teams and reinforcing the security of the surrounding area".

The communiqué also explains that the kudurista is the image of the restaurant franchise. Nagrelha, the child of Sambizanga who has become a father who inspires the country, proving that "it is possible to build success by our own hands, even if we were born and raised in an environment where dreams are, most of the time, more difficult to come true.

The inauguration will take place between 5pm and 7pm at Rua do Manauto, Sambizanga.
