The shareholders Unitel, which holds 51.9 per cent of the capital, and BPI (the remaining 48.1 per cent) elected their governing bodies for the three-year period 2020/2022, designating in addition to Rui Mangueira, António Domingues and Osvaldo Salvador de Lemos Macaia as vice-presidents.

Rui Jorge Carneiro Mangueira is a lawyer and career diplomat and served as Minister of Justice and Human Rights in the Government led by former President José Eduardo dos Santos between 2012 and 2017.

He was appointed Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in March 2018, by João Lourenço, and was removed from office by the President in October 2019.

The former Chairman of BFA's Board of Directors, Mário Leite Silva, presented his resignation from office last Thursday, a decision that justified his exclusion from the new list of directors approved in December by the telecommunications operator Unitel.

BFA's Executive Committee will be chaired by António Manuel Silveira Catana and the Supervisory Board by Ari Nelson Brandão.

João Francisco Quipipa will be the Chairman of the General Meeting, whose Vice-Chairman is Luís Graça Moura.

Mário Leite da Silva, manager and appointed as Isabel dos Santos' right-hand man, is one of those involved in the financial schemes that came to light through the journalistic investigation known as 'Luanda Leaks' and was set up by the Angolan Attorney General's Office.
