TAAG takes “Angola to the World” with a campaign to promote national products among passengers

The flag airline is promoting, together with the Airport Management Society (SGA), a campaign that aims to raise awareness of national products and make them reach across borders.

The campaign, called "From Angola to the World" and whose launch took place on Thursday, at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, will run until February next year.

Taking place in the post check-in area, according to Jornal de Angola, the campaign features more than seven products with the "Made in Angola" seal that can be tasted by passengers.

According to Raul George, representative of SGA, the products have no cost. "No passenger buys the products, they are given free of charge so that, when they return, they show interest in buying and taking it around the world," he said, quoted by Jornal de Angola.

This is the first initiative and, according to him, the intention is from now on to work "so that more brands" with the "Made in Angola" seal are known worldwide: "It is the first initiative we have had and, from now on Moving forward, we will work so that more brands with the Made In Angola Seal are known throughout the world through passengers", he pointed out.

With this initiative, according to Manuela Pardal, administrator of TAAG, the company intends to disseminate 'made in Angola' brands.

"Passengers from various countries who stopover on Angolan soil. When they arrive, they taste and end up liking the products, taking them back to their countries of origin", she said, quoted by Jornal de Angola.

Ginga coffee, as well as Refriango products, have been popular among passengers. According to Raul George, the companies are also working with the Pascoal and Tigra brands.
