‘Giramais’ social pass for students arrives in the province of Benguela

It is this week that the 'Giramais' social pass for students will arrive in the province of Benguela, with the National Integrated Ticketing Company (ENBI) carrying out, this Tuesday, the registration and issuance of the 'Giramais' for the category Students.

ENBI informs, in a statement sent to VerAngola, that the ceremony will take place at 12 pm, at Escola 10 de Fevereiro, located in the main municipality of the province of Benguela, and "will be honored by the governor of the province, Luís Manuel da Fonseca Nunes, by the President of the Executive Committee (PCE) of ENBI, Mário Nsingi, and members of civil society in that territorial portion of the Center-South of the country".

"Initially, stations for issuing the 'Giramais' social pass will be set up in six schools in the province's main municipality, where those in charge will be able to go to process the passes, with official 'Giramais' stores opening soon in the surrounding municipalities of Catumbela and Lobito", says the company.

In addition to Colégio BG 1115 (February 10), five other educational establishments will also host the registration process and issuance of the social pass: Colégio BG 1118 (Kasseque 1), Colégio BG 0007 (Dangereux), Escola do 1.° Ciclo BG 2011 Saydi Mingas, Complexo escolar BG 2101 José Ilídio Manjenje and the Complexo escolar do ensino especial BG 1038.

"To access the inclusive urban mobility program for students, parents and guardians of students attending Primary Education (from 1st to 6th grade) and Secondary Education (from 7th to 9th grade) must attach a copy of the student's registration document (Cédula Pessoal) or personal identification document (ID), three passport-sized photographs, 1000 kwanzas to purchase the registration sheet and a copy of the ID of the person in charge requesting membership", reads up in the note.

Also this Tuesday (12th December), ENBI informs that before the pass issuance ceremony, it will sign membership contracts for the SNBI – National Integrated Ticketing System with 13 local public transport operators for urban passengers, in a ceremony that will take place at 9 am, at Aparthotel Mil Cidades, and where the Provincial Director of Transport, Cátia Cachuco, will be present.

"The signing of the SNBI membership contracts will make Benguela the third province incorporated into the National Integrated Ticketing System in the country, after Luanda and Huíla, and will include Rosalina Express, Transpacifico, Transpinto, Hermalina, Okuilivala, Nkole, Casafe, Ofecif, Engesab, Gepe, HHM and Filhos, Jwbras, H and L, private public passenger transport operators", the statement also states.

According to the company, students "registered and eligible" for this social pass "benefit from up to 60 free trips monthly on public passenger transport".
