According to information available on the Presidency's Facebook page, until now, Victor Hugo Guilherme served as secretary of the President of the Republic for Economic Affairs.
Economist Mário Caetano João had been appointed by João Lourenço in October 2021.
The Presidency did not disclose the reasons for the dismissal.
