The drilling rig, according to a statement from the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, to which VerAngola had access, was made available by Dinge Sondagens.

"A modern onshore well drilling rig in Angola, aiming to optimize costs and speed up drilling times, with an investment of 6 million dollars, was made available by the service provider Dinge Sondagens", the note reads.

At the inauguration of Sonda Dinge Sondagens, an ACREP initiative, the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, considered that there was "a good example of how local content is created".

"We (here) have a good example of how local content is created. Other actors in the (oil) industry should see this initiative as a learning opportunity, as there are good examples that are right next to us", stated the minister, quoted in another note from the guardianship, to which VerAngola had access.

On the occasion, Diamantino Azevedo, speaking to businesspeople in general operating in the hydrocarbons and mining sectors, stated that he was "open and always available to share ideas" in order to see the "country moving forward".

The deputy governor of Cabinda for the Economic Area considered that the probe reflects the "valuation of local content".

Quoted in the statement, he said that "in addition to economic objectives, Dinge Sondagens must also take care of environmental impacts and social responsibility".

In turn, Mateus Gonçalves, who chairs the ACREP General Assembly, considered the presentation of the aforementioned probe "a mix of satisfaction and pride", given that the company he represents "is an example of innovation and appreciation of local content".

"Aware of the difficulties of mobilizing probes from Europe, Dinge Sondagens presents an efficient and lasting solution, saving time and money, assisting the 21 onshore blocks tendered by ANPG, expects to drill at least 25 holes, giving operators the possibility of payments in national currency", he stated, quoted in the statement.
