TAAG resumes flights to Sao Tome and Principe and Namibia in January

The flagship company will resume flights in the second half of January 2021 to the city of São Tomé, capital of São Tomé and Príncipe, and to Windhoek, capital of Namibia. The decision is part of TAAG's actions to resume international operations after flights were suspended in March this year due to covid-19.

Alípio de Azevedo, TAAG's deputy commercial director, in a statement to Angop, revealed that initially the company will fly once a week to these two cities.

About the connection to Lagos, Nigeria, the responsible did not advance dates, but indicated that the resumption of flights to that city is soon.

International flights resumed in September this year, with TAAG starting operations to Portugal and Brazil. For now, the company has been flying to Portugal (Lisbon and Porto) and South Africa (Johannesburg and Cape Town).

About domestic flights, Alípio de Azevedo revealed that TAAG is already performing flights to Cabinda, Catumbela, Lubango, Huambo, Saurimo and Soyo. This week flights to the cities of Luena, Moçâmedes and Dundo were resumed.
