Ana Paula de Carvalho revealed, quoted by Angop, that the sale of the houses will be directed to public employees, young people, public and private sector companies, ex-combatants and veterans and people with disabilities.

At the ceremony, where the first six houses at the Fernando Faustino Muteka Centre were attributed, the Secretary of State for Spatial Planning explained that 30 percent of the houses will be attributed to civil servants, 20 percent will be for young people, 15 percent for public sector companies, 15 percent for the general public, 10 percent will be an emergency reserve, five percent will be for ex-combatants and, in equal number, for people with disabilities.

The houses will be allocated in the modalities of rent, resolvable property, prompt payment and free allocation, indicated.

According to the responsible, those interested in acquiring the houses should contact the provincial government of Huambo to proceed with their application.

For those who are outside the allocation process mentioned above, Ana Paula de Carvalho revealed that the process of drawing the public will start in February next year.

At the ceremony, Lotti Nolika, governor of Huambo, took the opportunity to reveal that this selling process will help many Angolans to have a decent home, thus helping to improve the quality of life of families.

The centrality manages to house more than 28,000 residents. It is composed of 2832 apartments, 808 duplex houses and 361 residences. It also has 240 stores, which will be assigned to young people, public and private employees and ex-combatants for 7 million kwanzas that can be paid in 30 years in the form of resolvable property or for 12 thousand kwanzas in rent.

In addition, the centrality also has two secondary schools, an institute of technical and professional training, health center, police station and a sports complex.

It also has an electric substation, a wastewater treatment center and a drinking water distribution center.

The process of selling these houses will be done under the new access regime, foreseen in the presidential decree 270/20, of 26 October, which establishes the access to housing for all angolans.
