Chinese parliament wants to increase legal cooperation with Angolan counterpart

The deputy chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Assembly of China also defended pragmatic cooperation, stressing that currently Sino-Angolan cooperation is moving from rapid growth to "high quality".

"The two parliaments must have a positive position in legislation and supervision and practice of law, to offer more support, to optimize the business environment and attract foreign investment, as well as to promote interpersonal influx and offer a legal and political guarantee", he said.

The promotion of exchanges between the two peoples was also focused on by the Chinese parliamentarian, stressing the opportunity for both parliaments to take "advantage, advantage", to represent the peoples and "encourage and support cooperation in the areas of culture, education, health, tourism. , youth, women, consolidating more and more peace and popular will ".

The Chinese parliamentary official highlighted Angola's support for China's positions on the issue of Taiwan and Hong Kong and during the United Nations General Assembly, in the elections as a member of the Human Rights Council, judge of the International Court of Human Rights. According to Wang Chen, Chinese companies are resuming their work, production and projects in Angola, stressing that China attaches great importance to the African country's debt concerns, supporting it in efforts to ensure the sustainability of its debts.

"China's related financial institutions (debt) have already reached consensus on the debt re-profiling year and banks have already signed agreements," said the deputy chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Assembly, ensuring that they will continue to encourage companies Chinese women working in Angola, helping industrialization and economic diversification.

In turn, the first vice-president of the National Assembly of Angola, Emília Dias, reaffirmed the parliament's commitment to continue to increase and consolidate more and more cooperation between both institutions, especially in the field of legal understanding, support for the business, which is a priority for the Government.
