The two doctors, an intensivist and an orthopedist, "will help in the treatment of a high degree of dependence on intensive care, specifically, critically ill patients," said Corinthians Miguel, director of the Provincial Health Office in Namibe, quoted by Angop.
The professionals will also carry out training actions to update Angolan health sector staff.
Corinthians Miguel made it known that this is the first time Namibe receives an intensivist doctor and considered that this reinforcement is an added value for the province, especially at this time when the country is fighting covid-19.
Besides the doctors, the hospital also received a new device for Imagiology services. The device is already on the hospital premises and will be installed in January.
