According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, the data also point to a total to date of 6665 active cases, of which five in critical condition, three severe, 71 moderate, 136 mild and 6450 asymptomatic.
In the treatment centers, 216 patients are being followed up.
Regarding the work of the laboratories, only 879 samples have been processed in the last 24 hours, which is why the number of confirmed cases has been reduced as a result of not all the laboratories having been able to report the data, indicated Franco Mufinda.
To date, a cumulative of 285,699 processed samples have been recorded, referring to a cumulative positivity rate of 5.8 percent.
Franco Mufinda noted that a comparison of the data in the last two weeks shows a decrease in cases, however, does not mean the possibility of leading to a relaxation of biosecurity measures.
"Even with the use of the vaccine we must always continue and we will have to observe the individual and collective protection measures", he defended.
