Mobility difficulties will be overcome with the entry into operation of the ferryboat

The entry into operation of the catamaran-ferryboats will put an end to the mobility difficulties that Cabindans currently face.

:

Marcos Alexandre Nhunga, governor of Cabinda, considered that moving from that province to the rest of the country is the main difficulty faced by the citizens of the region, but that this should be covered with the ferryboat.

Cited by Angop, the governor also referred that the flagship airline remains unable to meet demand, classifying the end of the breakwater and passenger terminal works as "salvation" to end the current "odyssey" of the mobility from Cabinda to the rest of the country.

In addition to mobility, the official also mentioned obstacles in mooring vessels on the pier in the area, which continue to worry economic agents.

It is estimated that the works on the Maritime Passenger Terminal in Cabinda, the Quebra-Mar and the Ferryboat Docking Ramp will be completed in June of next year.

"It is not long before these large projects will alleviate the suffering of the population of this province and beyond", considered the governor.
