Angola Cables is Africa's best Internet service provider

Angola Cables is among the top 100 Internet service providers in the world. The company became the first 100 percent African operator to enter the world ranking of CAIDA (Center for Applied Internet Data Analysis) in California, which brings together the top 100 Internet service providers worldwide.

In a statement sent to VerAngola, the operator informs that it occupies the "33rd position in the ranking of Internet Service Provider (ISP; Internet service provider in Portuguese) Worldwide".

"In this ranking, Angola Cables occupies the first position in the African context, being the only Internet provider with a 100% African matrix", the note said.

Among the parameters that launched Angola Cables for this ranking are resilience, high quality Internet with express connectivity to low latency content and the guarantee of an optimized browsing experience for the final consumer.

Ângelo Gama, CEO of the company, considered that "being the best internet provider in Africa and being among the 30 best ISP's in the world is a source of pride, not only for Angola Cables, but also for the country".

This achievement "represents the collective effort of a dedicated team, which invests daily in the improvement and differentiation of its services, and intensifies our desire to increasingly present quality and international level connectivity projects", he said.

According to the note, of the 100 operators in the ranking, 28 are North American, 36 are European, 19 are from Latin America, 12 are of Asian origin, three from Oceania and Africa have only one representation, Angola Cables.
