Applications for the centrality of Luena start next month

The national director of Land Management and Housing, Adérito Carlos Mohamed, informed that applications for the more than 400 houses in the centrality of Luena will start as early as next month.

The centrality has a total of 425 houses, of which 255 will be used as resolvable property, 128 for rent and 42 for prompt payment.

The person in charge, quoted by Angop, explained that the payment for housing may change depending on the candidates' income. Thus, he made it known that the type of resolvable property is aimed at people with a minimum income of 122,475 kwanzas, and the monthly payment to the State should be fixed at around 31 thousand kwanzas, within a time horizon of 30 years.

The properties for rent will be destined for people with a maximum income of 122,475 kwanzas, with a monthly payment in the order of 12,503 kwanzas, over a period of 30 years, he said.

The value for the cash payment modality is situated at 7,585,168 kwanzas, and it is possible to pay in two installments: the first will be 3,792,584 kwanzas and the second will be settled within a period of five years, with an annual installment of 758,516 kwanzas, write to Angop.

The official also took the opportunity to mention that of the 425 houses, 129 will be granted to civil servants, 85 will be destined for youth and 63 for the general public, among others.

The centrality of Luena, whose work is about 80 percent completed and is estimated to be completed in the first quarter of next year, comprises 256 apartments, 50 single-storey houses and 119 with two floors. It also has 48 stores, a health post, a primary school and a children's center.
