National Oil and Gas Agency won “Leão de Ouro” at FILDA

The winner of the FILDA 2021 Leão de Ouro was the National Oil and Gas Agency, which participated with the largest stand in the Exhibition Pavilion.

However, another 19 categories were in competition, in which several companies from the national economic panorama stood out. The "Golden Lion" for the best participation of public entities and companies was awarded to the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), while the best public utility service was the Integrated Citizen Assistance Service (SIAC).

In the furniture industry, New Be stood out, Nutridis in food, Omatapalo in civil construction and public works, Nossa Seguros in insurance and Banco Sol in financial services.

They also took home a "Leão de Ouro" to Fazenda Filomena, for its contribution to agriculture and fisheries, Probeauty (cosmetics and health), Anglolbal (energy and water), the Port of Luanda (transport and logistics), Woermann (machinery and equipment) and Textang II (national production).

In the field of telecommunications and information technologies, Unitel won, in oil and gas, Sonangol, and Ution in innovative products. In the brand activation at the fair, MafCom stood out. The best journalistic coverage of FILDA was conquered by Rádio Difusão Nacional de Angola (RNA). The best international participation went to Portugal.

After handing over the awards, the Minister of Economy and Planning, Mário Caetano João, who closed the event, congratulated the business class that, even in a pandemic context, responded positively with their presence at FILDA 2021.

Mário Caetano João appealed to the organization for the next edition to establish a new category that can distinguish and value the producers that most insert local content in their exposed goods and services.

The president of Grupo Eventos Arena, Bruno Albernaz, welcomed the minister's proposal and, looking to the future, guaranteed that the next FILDA, if the pandemic situation allows, should take place in June, to take advantage of the dry weather and casualties cacimbo temperatures.

In addition to the exhibitors, the "Golden Lions" award gala was attended by the Secretaries of State for the Economy, Dalva Ringote, for Finance and Treasury, Ottoniel dos Santos, for Industry, Ivan do Prado and the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.

FILDA 2021 had the participation of 568 national and international brands, 18 countries, and was attended by 14,000 visitors.
