PCA of the Boavida group detained for aggression

Tomasz Dowbor, chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the Boavida group, was arrested for aggression and contempt of authority. At issue is the assault on a lady who entered into a contract to purchase a house in a condominium.

According to the provincial commander of the National Police, Chief Commissioner Eduardo Cerqueira, the arrest took place on Wednesday, in the municipality of Belas.

Chief commissioner Eduardo Cerqueira, quoted by Angop, explained that before the pandemic, the citizen "signed a contract to buy a house worth 48 million kwanzas and has already paid around 23 million, but due to the delay, the citizen he complained and despite being right, the businessman physically attacked the woman with the help of members of a private security company".

The official also made it known that the citizen asked for help from the public order forces, but this was "badly received" by the aggressor, with the situation culminating in the arrest of the businessman.

According to Platinaline, the PCA of the Boavida group was acquitted of the charge of contempt of authority. The case was referred to the Public Ministry, which sent it to court and, in summary judgment, acquitted Tomasz Dowbor. After reading the sentence, the businessman was released.
