The digitalisation of the education system is being implemented, pointed out the Minister of Education, who also considered that the use of technology in the country's primary schools is still ephemeral, however, efforts are being made to change this situation.

Thus, quoted by Angop, the minister said that by introducing technology in educational establishments, students will have the opportunity to use computers and expand their knowledge in various areas.

Speaking at the international symposium on educational assessment, under the motto "A Thousand Paths, One Path and Multiple Learnings", the minister said that "IT is a mandatory subject from the seventh grade onwards".

For the minister, the event analyses the parameters that define the quality of the education system, within the framework of educational progress.

On the occasion, Luísa Grilo also highlighted the commitment to exploring and deepening the conversation about the parameters of education, considering that educational assessment is essential and urgent for the development of an education and teaching system, writes Angop.

It should be noted that the meeting is an opportunity to discuss the role of external evaluation in the development of public policies, its impact on student learning, as well as challenges and feasibility in Angola, aiming at the creation of a National Evaluation System.
