The main purpose of this measure is to attribute the utility for which these infrastructures were designed, says a statement from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access.
"The manufacturing units and farms that are in a state of abandonment or underutilization in the province of Cuanza Norte will be reverted in favor of the State, in order to give them the usefulness for which they were designed", the note reads.
At the meeting, the central executive recorded all the "concerns and emergency needs" exposed by the provincial government, as well as also recommending "the urgent equipping of the Cambambe Municipal Hospital, in order to make services available to the local population".
Among the proposals left are also the completion of the design, construction and equipping project for the Instituto Superior Politécnico de N'Dalatando and the construction of a toll gate and a weighing station in Nzenza do Itombe, with a view to controlling traffic between East, North and Center zones towards Luanda, points out the CIPRA statement.
In addition, the final communiqué of the meeting also covers recommendations regarding the "rehabilitation of the main sections that connect Catete to Maria Teresa and from Nzenza do Itombe to Cachilo, and the construction of the road that connects Estrada Nacional 120 to Massangano".
The "implementation of a recovery program for Forte do Massangano" was also proposed, with a view to promoting tourism in that historic site of international reference.
Among the recommendations is also the "prioritization of self-construction projects aimed at responding to the needs of social housing in the province", as well as the "programming of the requalification of Marginal do Dondo, so that, as soon as there is financial availability, its implementation can begin", also points out the final statement, cited by CIPRA.
On the occasion, the central government encouraged the work taking place in Cuanza Norte to continue, having highlighted the "direct impact on improving the population's social conditions".
It is recalled that the President of the Republic carried out, this Tuesday and Wednesday, a working day in the province. One of the highlights of his time in Cuanza Norte was the inauguration of the province's general hospital.
