The hotel opened its doors last weekend, which was inaugurated by the governor of the province of Bengo, Maria António Nelumba.
"The provincial governor Maria Antónia Nelumba, inaugurated (...) Saturday, November 11, 2023, in the village of Ambriz, a two-star hotel unit, a private enterprise", informs the provincial government of Bengo, in a statement to which VerAngola had access.
According to the note, the hotel has 61 suites (46 singles and 15 doubles). It also consists of a restaurant and a meeting room.
"The project, which cost approximately eight million euros, will provide around 17 direct jobs", says the provincial government.
On the occasion, owner Ernesto Pereira – cited by Angop – said he hopes that the hotel unit will be beneficial for the locality, as it needs services of this kind.
According to a statement from the government of Bengo, with the opening of this hotel, the province "now has three hotels, including 'Hotel Panguila' and 'IU Hotel', not to mention five villages and several guesthouses spread across the six municipalities".
