From a universe of more than 200 candidates, including artists, academics, sportspeople, entrepreneurs and digital influencers, the "PowerList 100 Most Influential Personalities in Lusofonia" will be chosen.

The chosen names will be revealed on the 3rd of December at a ceremony at São Luiz Teatro Municipal, in Lisbon and also in digital format on the electronic portal https://powerlist100.bantumen.com/.

The more than 200 names considered are citizens of Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and São Tomé and Príncipe.

"Celebrating and giving global visibility to the path of excellence of the Afro-descendant community is the motto of the initiative that is associated with International Human Rights Day to promote equality, diversity and inclusion, in which the nominees have in common a sense of representation and belonging. among the black lusophone community", stressed Vanessa Sanches.

"This project had a huge support since its first edition in 2021, which confirmed that it was something that was lacking within the community. It is with great pride that we now launch the second edition that brings some news", she adds.

In this second edition, Djassi Africa and Startup Portugal join the initiative to distinguish "three notable entrepreneurs of 2022", said Vanessa Sanches.
