According to a communiqué from the regulator to which VerAngola had access, the referred organizational unit, in terms of action, will cover the provinces of Uíge and Zaire, with the main attributions "the sanitation of the circulating environment, processing of statistical data, as well as such as providing support to central supervisory and financial education units".
On the sidelines of the inauguration of the eighth Regional Delegation of the BNA, the province of Uíge will host, on the 25th of November, the 108th Meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee, the body of the National Bank of Angola responsible for formulating the monetary policy, being responsible for decide on the key interest rates, "with a view to achieving a low and stable level of inflation", says the document.
