Roadshow PROPRIV: IGAPE presented privatizations to German investors

The Institute for the Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE) presented, this Tuesday, the privatization program to investors in Germany. The presentation took place within the scope of the “Roadshow PROPRIV” cycle of meetings, via the Zoom platform.

In a statement made available on its website, the IGAPE states that "in partnership with the African Association of the German Economy (Afrika-Verein der Deutschen Wirtschaft) and the Delegation of the German Economy in Angola", it held "another edition on Tuesday morning" of the cycle of meetings, called 'Roadshow PROPRIV', this time aimed at German investors, with the aim of promoting the 2019-2022 Privatization Program to the international community".

The meeting was attended by the administrator of IGAPE, Augusto Kalikemala, the German ambassador to Angola, Stefan Traumann, the executive administrator of Bodiva, Cristina Lourenço, the coordinator of the monitoring team for the sale program at Sonangol, Daniela Matos and the head of the department of privatizations and restructuring of IGAPE companies, João Sionguele.

According to the note, this is the fifth meeting of this kind, having taken place for about two hours, via the Zoom platform.

At the session, "relevant information and clarifications were provided on the assets of the different sectors to be privatized, within the scope of PROPRIV 2019-2022, as well as the procedures that will be adopted in each process".

The 'Roadshow PROPRIV' started on the 28th of July this year, with investors from Portugal, China, England and the United States of America. The note also mentions that until the end of 2021, a last session with Spanish investors is scheduled.
