"As not everyone can be present because of the pandemic, ZAP will broadcast the ceremony, as Sindika Dokolo was one of the founders and a member of the company's governing bodies, and this is a tribute that the workers and collaborators intend to pay in honor of this much-loved figure", can be read in the publication of the entrepreneur.
The ceremony can be followed live on Youtube of ZAP Viva or on television at position 4 or 5HD for Angola and Mozambique and at position 125 of NOS for Portugal/Europe.
The funeral ceremonies, which start at 9am, will take place in three different places simultaneously: in London, where the family used to live; in Kinshasa, where Sindika was born and in Luanda, where the couple met and where the Sindika Dokolo Foundation for the promotion of arts is located.
Sindika Dokolo died last October 29th in a diving accident at the age of 48.
"He was a businessman, philanthropist, civil rights defender and art collector. The Sindika Dokolo Foundation of contemporary and African art has distinguished itself by its work of identifying and recovering works of art taken from African museums," adds Isabel dos Santos.
