The novelty was seen with good eyes by Sílvio Nascimento, who used his Instagram page to show his contentment.
"Visionaries and investors from all over the world will now have the opportunity to look at the Angolan film market as a potential target for investment and make this emerging industry (in Angola) reach the level that is intended," wrote Sílvio Nascimento.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tellas also took the opportunity to reveal that the platform is being restructured: "At the moment Tellas is being restructured so that in the near future its services will have greater scope and satisfaction in the interests of national producers and the PALOP area, as well as the change of image to give it the dignity it still needs due to the numerous shortcomings in the market".
Tellas was launched earlier this year and resembles Netflix. With content exclusively in Portuguese, its subscribers can watch films, documentaries, stand-up comedy sessions, series, among others.
