This date marks the beginning of the process of gradually transferring passenger flights from the current 4 de Fevereiro International Airport for the New International Airport Dr. António Agostinho Neto (AIAAN).

According to TAAG, the choice fell on Cabinda because it is the domestic destination with the highest volume of passenger and cargo traffic, with flights in the morning, afternoon and evening, allowing "permanent activation of the different teams and systems AIAAN operations".

TAAG will provide four daily frequencies to Cabinda, with departures and arrivals exclusively to and from the International Airport Dr. António Agostinho Neto, in a Dash 8-Q400 model aircraft, with capacity for 74 passengers.

In December, the routes in the Eastern region (Dundo, Saurimo and Luena) and Soyo will be integrated into the flight schedule from AIAAN, and, progressively, in the first quarter of 2025, the remaining domestic and international connections will be transferred.

Public transport access to the International Airport Dr. António Agostinho Neto will be provided by the Luanda Railway (CFL), buses from the company Transportes Colectivos Urbanos de Luanda.
