According to Glória Bettencourt, head of the Bem Barato (BB) Eskebra project, the group's goal is to build 250 establishments of this type throughout the country.
In statements quoted by Angop, on the occasion of the inauguration of the 11th 'BB Eskebra', whose ceremony took place last Tuesday, the head official stated that the main focus of the business group is the sale of locally produced products, adding that approximately 95 percent of the products available in these establishments are manufactured locally, with the expectation of reaching the total (100 percent) in the medium term.
Glória Bettencourt also said that the company, through Carrinho Agri, works with several farmers in the country to acquire locally produced products and thus supply the industrial infrastructures that process the raw materials from agricultural land, which, after being transformed, are sold in commercial establishments.
Quoted by Angop, the person in charge also highlighted that the opened establishments represent the introduction of the brand into the country's retail market, focusing on the needs of consumers.
