Defender Bastos Quissanga, who plays for Brazilian club Botafogo, promised to do everything to honor the colors of the Angolan flag.
"We are to be congratulated on the classification and we thank the Angolan people for their affection. We ask the Angolans to continue believing in us, as we will do everything to defend, in the best way possible, the colors of our flag at CAN" he said.
Defender Núrio Fortuna, from Belgium's Gent, said he was proud to be part of Pedro Gonçalves's chosen team, who achieved yet another historic feat for Angola.
"We are very happy, we did it not just for us, but for all Angolans. It is an immense pride for us and we are going to another CAN. I feel proud to be part of the selection and to be able to make my contribution", he said.
Midfielder Show, from the Dallas Americans, in turn, said that the objective set by the federation, coach and athletes was achieved.
"We thank you for your support. We will continue to work hard to always achieve our goals, just like the one we achieved now. We are happy with the classification. Let's celebrate, because the objective set by us was achieved with a lot of sacrifice", he stressed.
Striker Zito, from Cagliari, and defender Kialonda Gaspar, from Lecce, also showed their satisfaction with the goal achieved.
In Morocco, on loan from Niger, the Angolans' goal was scored by Zini, in the first minute of the game, allowing them to consolidate their lead in Group F, undefeated, with 12 points.
Angola plays again on November 11th, against Ghana, in Luanda, and culminates the qualifying phase for the African Cup of Nations against Sudan, on the 15th of the same month, in Sudanese territory.
