Given the seriousness of the facts discovered, the parliamentary group moved forward with the disciplinary process, warning the deputy that he must make himself "available to the competent bodies of the State" to clarify the case".
He emphasizes, in the note, that the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) "does not agree with acts that harm the good name, public assets and the normal functioning of State institutions".
Following UNITA's initiative, the president of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, announced this Friday that an Ad-Hoc parliamentary commission was created "to determine the material truth of the facts", an accountability process that does not invalidate others that are opened by justice bodies.
